Apaixonarte is a small gallery and shop, located in one of the historic districts of Lisbon that promotes emerging Portuguese artists.

The gallery invited me to do a solo exhibition at their place. And this is how “Geómetra” (geometry specialist) was born.

“Geómetra” appears as the urge to materialize some of the sketches that were lost in notebooks stored in drawers. An ode to simple shapes that punctuate the day to day, that make us blink the eyes throughout our routines, and that makes us smile.

Black and white and strong colors, coupled with the passion for textiles and ceramics, are the ideal motto to get out the window and move to the wall that is stuck in a paper.

To leave & to arrive, to change the furniture around in the same tight spot, and to defy mathematics via the form.
