"Heavy Thoughts" is a fictional publication about overthinking things and dealing with emotions and time.
I found these beach rocks I collected in the summer holidays. I scanned them and enjoyed the result of almost ending up with blurred shots because of the three-dimensional and volumetric shape of the rocks.

With these scans as a motto, I started to relate these images with thoughts, feelings, and time. I explored some graphic layouts to display these beautiful images. This project is part of a series of editorial templates for Adobe.
To create these templates and avoid using lorem ipsum texts and stock images,  I wrote fictionally, and almost times silly, paragraphs and did random illustrations as a motto. I took this opportunity to explore some layout ideas, explore photography approaches, and improve my illustration skills and styles.
