“SINAL – 100 Anos de Design das Telecomunicações e dos Correios” was an exhibition at Casa do Design dedicated to the last 100 years of telecommunications and postal design in Portugal.

Apart from all artifacts: stamps, posters, old machines and phones, posters, and signage; there was a small section with mail–art by Portuguese designers and illustrators.

I was invited by José Bártolo, the curator of the exhibition to join this section. My mail-art artowok was an A4 paper that folds into a small postcard and, unlike regular mail, the recipient was the less relevant element in the postcard:all the postcard was filled with blocky shapes of arrows and mailing ephemera elements.
